Even Internet Marketers have to lead a normal life!

Here's me doing some 'batman' duties the morning before Stephen Pierce's session on Sunday morning.

Together with my 'superheroes' friends, we were at the Man Fut Tong Nursing Home Fundraising fair to share about vegetarianism. Reason is because Christian Bale, the actor for Batman, Tobey McGuire in Spiderman and Alicia Silverstone who acted as BatGirl were all vegetarian.

Now then, what has this got to do with Internet Marketing?

Well the story goes like this. Now our goal was to attract attention so that we can spread our message that you can be strong, healthy and beautiful too being a vegetarian (check out the real Christian Bale's abs!)

So we walked around the Home, not surprisingly getting a lot of attention especially the kids who wanted to take photos with us.

Then we ventured to an area where there was a stage and an MC on a mike. Since there are more people there, we decided to go there to get some attention so that we can spread our message.

Well, we got some response but it was shortlived because the MC having the power of the mike and the stage got the audience focused back on performances on the stage. That's when my 'spidey' friend concluded 'We can't compete with someone who has the mic!'

Which comes back to the moral of the story that Stephen shared with us and is really the key to internet marketing success- Find a market that you can WIN!

Don't go head-on to compete with others who already has a foothold of a market.
