My Smart Online Biz

Well, here's a pleasant surprise.

My Google Alerts alerted me of a blog post that mentioned my name.
So it's great to see one of our clients from Indonesia have used our videos to some effect. (of course, they also learn other IM stuff from other gurus)

Kudos to Olly and her family of medical practitioners who are surprisingly very active in internet marketing. Check out her blog titled My Smart Online Biz

Here's wishing her and her family, great success in internet marketing.

I was still hesitating whether I should go to Jakarta next week to speak at the Global Internet Summit to cover the newbies day on Day 1. Well, maybe this has helped make up my mind and now I need to check if the speaking slot is still available.

Global Internet Summit Kuching 2007

"Ngap Sayot!"

What a great weekend I had last week! It was only the 2nd time I was at Kuching, the first being a few days ago when I went over the Merdeka Palace to do a preview for GIS.

This time round, it was the actual Global Internet Summit at Crowne Plaza Riverside Kuching with about 150 people attending. The crowd was fantastic as they were enthusiastic to learn about Internet Marketing.

And it's even better that I got the privilege to speak on the first day and also be the MC for the event.

Imagine being on the stage and shouting "MALAYSIA BOLEH!" and getting the crowd to respond back! It was an exhilarating feeling!

Then we had some great speakers gracing the event, Kelvin Hui, Fabian Lim, Terence Tan, Adam and Ben, Patric Chan and last but not least, the big daddy himself, Stephen Pierce! Even Richard Tan went on stage to share his success story!

But the greatest feeling from such seminars is when the participants come up to you and share how excited they are and for some, the progress they made after my session on the first day. Some even came to share about their personal experiences and I would like to thank Dr Tan for giving me her book on babies - Just what I needed for Amelia!

But what was really heartwarming was when I was at the airport on the way back and Magdalene and her husband was also waiting for their flight back to KK.

She shared with me her inspiring story of how when back in 1998, she was told by doctors she had only 2 months to live! And from her cheerful demeanour, you would never have guessed. It's amazing.

And for all these wonderful experiences, I can only have one word to everyone who has touched me over the weekend....
...
'Thank you'
