Well, here's a pleasant surprise.

My Google Alerts alerted me of a blog post that mentioned my name.
So it's great to see one of our clients from Indonesia have used our videos to some effect. (of course, they also learn other IM stuff from other gurus)

I was still hesitating whether I should go to Jakarta next week to speak at the Global Internet Summit to cover the newbies day on Day 1. Well, maybe this has helped make up my mind and now I need to check if the speaking slot is still available.

New Year, New Directions

I'm been having this blog for months now. It's time to figure out what I want to do with it. With the new year, I decided on a new direction for this blog.

Besides updating my progress on internet marketing here, I'm going to use this website to feature blogs or websites of my friends in this region which was what I wanted to do in the first place, that is to create a community of future internet marketers.

So watch this space here! The next big internet marketer may just be featured here so I can say, you've seen it here first! haha...

Well, the first site I'm going to feature is from a friend of mine. Or rather it started from knowing him as a brother of a friend. I met him at a seminar and it was quite funny that after talking for a while, I realised I know his brother (and parents too!)

Anyway, he's quite a young chap and at the end of last year decided to quit his studies to do internet full-time! Wow, I wouldn't be able to make that kind of decision in my younger years. He has decided to focus on a niche area that really suits him. He is a professional blogger and his blog provides quite a fair bit of tips and tricks you can use on your blog, so do check it out.
